Alright, the question for you is…
Are you inadvertently sabotaging yourself? I think we all do this in some shape or form.
I certainly did this to myself for most of my life.
But I kind of discovered this little mind hack that can help you if you find yourself talking yourself out of doing things that you know, you need to do…
There are those business-building income-producing activities that maybe we’re a little uncomfortable doing.
So we talk ourselves out of doing them.
I have completely reprogrammed my own brain and it has changed my life. I used to have very little control over my own thoughts, therefore, my emotions and my behaviors, and my reactions.
So this is something you can start doing for yourself and I promise you, if you do this on a regular basis several times a day, if necessary, it will change you.
Okay, so this is what you can do:
I talk about having like a mindset tool belt, it’s this tool belt you have on and you can pull out these little mind hacks whenever you need them.
And if you do this on a regular basis, it only takes 60 to 90 days to reprogram your brain, you will start to think differently, and you will start to get different and better results in life because you’re going to choose better self-talk, that’s gonna work for you rather than against you.
So whenever something comes up in your business that you know, you need to do, here’s what you’re gonna do…
You are going to start paying attention to the stuff you say to yourself.
What is your brain saying to you to talk you out of doing the thing? (which is self-sabotage)
So what are you saying to yourself? Why can’t you go live, why can’t you do the video?
What is your brain telling you that people are gonna judge you, People are gonna go, my God, what the heck is she talking about?
Or does she even know what she’s talking about?
Or my gosh, she’s put on weight since high school or whatever. Guess what?
All your high school friends have put on weight too.
They have, they all have receding hairlines now too.
So watch what you’re saying to yourself and I promise you, whatever you’re saying to yourself, boils down to one thing you’re afraid of being judged.
Because what happens when we’re judged then our feelings are hurt.
It’s amazing what human beings will do to avoid having our feelings hurt.
We will sabotage our own success so that we don’t have to have hurt feelings.
We are holding ourselves back with self-sabotage because of self-talk.
We’re talking ourselves out of doing the things we need to do to get better results.
And this isn’t all about money.
I am not all about money, I’m about FREEDOM.
I want to make enough money so that I don’t have to worry about money like financial security.
I don’t like laying in bed in a state of anxiety at night because I don’t have enough money to pay the rent or the mortgage or feed my kids or whatever it may be.
That sucks. I’ve been there before and it absolutely sucks. It’s a really crappy way to live.
You’re living in a state of fight or flight, you’re living in a state of anxiety, you know, worrying all the time, minute to minute.
Then you’re not able to be present in your life or with your loved ones because you’re so stressed about money all the time.
I don’t care about having a Lamborghini. I really don’t, I don’t even care about having designer clothing.
I don’t need the $4,000 handbag, but if I go to the store and there’s that $250,
I just might get it.
So anyway, my point is, money does not bring you happiness. Happiness comes from within.
What money can do for you is take away the financial stress that kind of can allow you to be happier because you’re not living in a state of stress all the time.
You’re not living in fight-or-flight mode.
And here’s the truth when you live in fight or flight mode…
That creates all kinds of illnesses, all kinds of health issues when you’re living in fight or flight mode because it creates an inner I I won’t go into it because this is a whole other training.
But it creates this whole heart and the brain connection gets all messed up when you are living in a fight or flight mode and it does all kinds of things with your neurons connecting in your brain.
And it creates stress, and all kinds of health issues, not good.
You don’t sleep, you put on weight, all kinds of stuff.
So just learning how your mind works and being really, really aware of your own thoughts and when your thoughts are working against you, you learn how to self-correct by doing this when something comes up and it’s not a good thing like the video and you’re going, people are gonna think I’m silly or whatever now…
You’re gonna ask yourself this question, Is this true?
Or is this just a story I tell myself?
When you start asking yourself that question regularly, it’s probably gonna be 50 times a day for your first while, you are going to begin to recognize how often you’re lying to yourself, you’re telling yourself these little lies so that you don’t have to do the thing, you’re telling yourself the lies so that you don’t do the things so that your feelings are protected because if you do the thing, maybe someone’s
gonna judge you and have your feelings hurt.
The job of your subconscious mind is to keep you safe physically and mentally.
Doing the things that you’re uncomfortable doing is going to get easier and easier and easier until you go…
“I can’t believe I was freaked out to do this, I can’t believe it”
You’re also gonna be really proud of yourself every single day!
It’s gonna build your self-esteem.
It’s going to encourage you to do the things that you’re uncomfortable doing because you’re no longer so scared because you’ve done it before and you survived…
So your commitment to this process will determine if you can release these stories that might be holding you back.
Everybody wants these big results, but most people don’t play big enough to get those results because if you’re stuck in your own head believing you’re actually not capable of it, then you’re not going to follow through and what needs to be done to get those results.
Do you see how it’s all sabotage were self-sabotaging by not doing the things?
We can have so much control over our own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
But you have to put in the work because that programming, especially if you’re over the age of 35 is solidly in place.
It’s imprinted into your subconscious mind. So now you’re running on that program.
And if that program is not working really well for you, then you simply have to change the programming.
It’s pretty darn easy. Just commit to it and do this on a daily basis.
So if you’re running on a program, you’re kind of brainwashed in a way…
Like that’s the program you’re running on, but if it’s not working so well for you, you can change the program, you can design it to work exactly the way you want to…
You really can.
You are that powerful. Our brains are that powerful!!
Decide how you want to think and just start thinking that way, you do that by catching yourself when you’re not thinking that way and you self correct, I’m telling you this will change your life, it will absolutely change your life.
