Personal development is at the top because it is in my opinion, the keystone to achieving success in all areas. There
are many ways to partake in your development, whether it is doing some exercise, meditation, listening to a
podcast, reading a book, or watching a webinar. There are so many option, so just pick what you appreciate. A
daily routine that begins with this component sets you up for success. As you follow these 7 steps you
will see
exactly how it does so.
- Content Creation
Now that you have began your day by improving yourself with some personal development, you definitely have
something to share with others. This maybe something you learned that day or something that you have learned
earlier and are just now sharing with your audience, or creating for the audience you are creating. With a continual
effort at the first step you ensure a constant supply of new material to cover in your content creation.
- Post & Share New Content
This seems like it would be a given, however it is a frequent hole in peoples marketing strategies. How many times
have you re-read something or watched your video and did not like what you had produced? This is the perfection
problem at its best! If you are going to start to get some people looking at what your creating you have to start
posting it to your various marketing channels. Even if you’re getting started, start to share your content, people are
watching, reading, and listening!
- Foster Existing Relationships
The main reason to continue to develop the relationships you already have is to keep communication open. If you
continue to keep the conversation open with those you know, when the time is right for them to work with you
they will. It is sometimes as simple as a matter of timing, so keep your options open!
- Developing New Relationships
Building your list, or creating your audience is a fundamental action and allows you to constantly put new people
in front of your message. The great part of building your list is that you can now market to your list over and over
again. Developing a relationship can be done in many ways and using various marketing tools to enhance and
sometimes speed up the process.
- Follow Up With Current Prospects
Another one of the “holes” found in marketers strategies, is the follow up. You want to follow up with your leads,
whether you are doing that via an automated email, or you message/call your leads. Whatever your choice of follow
it is an absolute must! When you follow up you are closing the loop that you started with the beginning of the
content creation. When you are able to follow up, you are now on the road to Results! No matter the result
whether the prospect is interested in your offer or not, you can now move forward! Done over time and with
consistency this process can yield tremendous results.
Having the ability to see where others have helped is a benefit to both us, and those that
we express our gratitude towards. This step provides us an additional opportunity to communicate with others our
appreciation. A simple thank you can go a long way in fostering relationships, as well as remembering that success
is very often a group effort!
